FAQ Contract Boat Manufacturing & Marine Production

Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions section of Gregorini Marine Manufacturing. Here, shipyards, naval architects, and international brands find detailed answers about our contract boat manufacturing capabilities, from infusion technologies to international logistics.

Production Capacity & Vessel Sizes

What is the maximum size of the boats you can manufacture on a contract basis?

Gregorini Marine Manufacturing has the facilities and expertise to handle the production, assembly, and finishing of boats and yachts up to 37 meters. We are fully equipped to handle large hulls, guaranteeing the same precision and luxury standards required for smaller units.

Can you handle just the hull lamination or the complete assembly?

We offer a modular service. We can handle exclusively the shell production (hull and deck lamination), or manage the entire "turnkey" cycle, which includes structural assembly, installation of all systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC), luxury interior joinery, and final sea trials.

Technologies & Composite Materials

What fiberglass and composite molding technologies do you use?

We use the most advanced technologies based on project specifications. Our capabilities include hand lay-up for complex components, vacuum infusion to guarantee the best strength-to-weight ratio and reduce waste, and RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) for high-quality finishes on both sides.

Is it possible to use our existing molds for production?

Absolutely. We accept and manage client-owned molds. Our technical department evaluates the mold to ensure it is optimized for our production processes and guarantees routine maintenance during the storage and production period.

Project Management & Intellectual Property

How do you ensure the confidentiality of our projects and naval designs?

Protecting intellectual property is our absolute priority. Before starting any collaboration, we sign strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Your CAD files, designs, molds, and technical specifications remain your exclusive property and are protected by physical and digital security protocols.

Can we monitor the Work-In-Progress (WIP) status?

Yes, we promote maximum transparency. We provide our B2B partners with periodic reports, photo updates of critical phases, and the option to conduct technical site visits or live video inspections.

Quality, Certification & Logistics

Can the manufactured boats be certified for charter or commercial navigation?

Yes. We build to the standards required by major classification societies (RINA, Lloyd's Register, DNV) and for CE marking. We provide all technical documentation, material certificates, and testing reports necessary for commercial and charter certification.

How do you handle logistics for foreign shipyards or international deliveries?

We have a dedicated logistics department that manages the entire supply chain. We can coordinate the pickup of customer-supplied components, arrange storage, and handle the shipping of the finished vessel to any international destination, including customs clearance.
